Where METHOD begins
The intention behind the workshop, and the first brief that puts it into focus.
METHOD begins with the whole car: how it drives, how it feels to use, and how it can be maintained. Every change should serve a clear purpose and work with the rest of the vehicle.
The workshop is taking shape. There are no completed METHOD builds to show yet. This journal starts with our intentions and will follow the practical work as it happens.
A familiar starting point
Our first study is a 1991 Suzuki Swift sedan. The brief keeps its original appearance, with subtle changes to wheels and stance, while reconsidering the engine, suspension and interior. Comfortable daily use comes first, alongside discreet performance and a visibly modern cabin.
The Swift is the opening chapter. The wider ambition is a workshop able to approach different vehicles with the same care for character, integration and everyday use.
Decisions before parts
The donor car and its condition still need to be confirmed. Engine choice, suspension layout, cabin equipment and wheel fitment remain open.
Each decision needs a reason: what it improves, how it affects the rest of the car, and what it means for future servicing.
An open record
As work begins, we intend to share measurements, component decisions, revisions and testing. The journal will record what we learn as the workshop develops.
