Optional analytics
With your permission, METHOD Automotive uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and explore builtbymethod.com. Analytics is optional: declining it leaves the website available in full.
When enabled and accepted, Analytics receives page views, referring sites, campaign labels, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions such as viewing a Method stage or opening a study. It uses cookie identifiers to distinguish visits. We do not send names, email addresses or contact-form entries, and our tag disables advertising consent and advertising personalisation.
The Google Analytics script loads only after acceptance. Declining before acceptance sends no Analytics requests. We remove query strings and fragments from reported page URLs; standard campaign labels may be sent separately.
Your choice
Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer, when analytics is active, to change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops further Analytics collection through our tag and removes its first-party Analytics cookies. It does not erase information already sent to Google.
We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies to the current page only. Analytics cookies, when accepted, have a lifetime of up to 180 days from their most recent update.
Other browser storage
The site stores your light or dark theme choice and, for the current browser tab, whether the opening has played. These preferences support the website experience and are separate from Analytics. You can remove them through your browser’s site-data settings.
Service providers
